The Gathering Project
Where people come together.
The Gathering Project is an ongoing exploration of hospitality, service, food, experience design and human connection. A running record of observations, ideas and lessons from the places where people gather. It's where I study the things that make hospitality worth returning to.
Recent observations
Short field notes from travel, restaurants, hotels, cooking classes, World 50 gatherings and leadership rooms. Each one is a brief snippet. Behind it usually sits something longer, a few paragraphs or a few pages working out what it means, why it matters and how it might be useful. This page is alive, updating as new notes are published.
Themes emerging
Patterns that keep surfacing across the notes. They shift as the work continues.

Noticed something about hospitality or human connection?
I'm always collecting observations. If something you've seen belongs in the project, I'd love to hear it.
